Office of Academic Affairs

Team of Academic Affairs is to perform the acquisition and management of personnel in order to fulfill most important mission of our school through education, research and community service of the University. Team of Academic Affairs oversees undergraduate courses, academic records and classes.

Duties

Academic Affairs Department

  • Install/eliminate college departments and majors
  • Organize Staff trips (within Korea or overseas)
  • Initiate School operational plans
  • Foreign Staff Immigration affairs
  • Manage student capacity
  • Appoint instructors and teaching assistants
  • Revise school regulations
  • Issue Staff paperwork
  • Staff HR affairs
  • Publish school brochures

Curriculum Department

  • Organize school catalog
  • Supervise re-examinations
  • Course registrations
  • Operate school curriculum committee
  • Student attendance rate check
  • Issue teaching license
  • Supervise school examinations
    set Staff payment plans
  • Social education professionals certification affairs
  • Run summer/winter session courses
  • Verify student school records

Registrar’s Office

  • Manage school registry
  • Select class valedictorian and salutatorian
  • Student Registration
  • Compile registry (enrolled students, alumni, expelled
    students)
  • Leave of absence / Returning Student affairs
  • Demographic Statistics
  • Change in status
  • Graduation and completion affairs
  • Academic Probation, Suspension
  • Issue required paperwork for passport request
    (study abroad purposes)
  • Expulsion (unregistered, no return, excess
    academic terms, permanent leave
  • Military Education affairs
  • Degree Registration

Education Development Center

  • Run ‘Leadership Development’ and ‘Leadership
    Practicum’
  • Dinner Concert
  • Run Colloquia Courses
  • Run leadership seminars
  • Master Professor Appointment
  • Install and maintain equipment in multimedia lecture halls
  • Appoint Residential Advisors
  • Maintain educational equipment collection
  • RA Hall meetings
  • Create educational video/audio media materials
  • Organize Freshmen Orientation
  • Provide necessary educational materials
  • Social service events
  • Support campus events
  • RC Foreign Volunteer service
  • Create DID content materials
  • RC Sports Festival
