2023 Yonsei International Summer School(YISS) Opened on June 27th, Breaking the Record Number of People

The orientation was held successfully on June 26th.

2023 Yonsei International Summer School OrientationOur university holds the YISS (Yonsei International Summer School) for six weeks from June 27th, in which students from overseas universities participate. In 2023, about 2,100 students from 51 countries participated in the Yonsei International Summer School, breaking the record number of participants.

Opened for the first time in Korea in 1985, the International Summer School has become a world-class international education program where international students can experience various extracurricular programs and internships at domestic companies and research institutes while earning credits on our university campus during summer vacation.

In 2023, the International Summer University will consist of four and six-week courses considering the interdisciplinary system of students from universities around the world and teachers from leading overseas universities and our university will give about 100 lectures in English in a total of seven fields.

Starting with the orientation held at the auditorium on June 26, participating students will be provided with various Korean cultural experience programs and great events such as △ Korean language lectures △ Taekwondo classes △ K-Pop dance classes △ Seoul City Tour △ DMZ Tour △ Cooking Class △ Gugak performances and Seoul night view tours.
