On April 1, the Yonsei School of Business announced that it had once again received accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International for its undergraduate and graduate programs in business and accounting. The re-accreditation, which remains valid for five years, testifies to YSB’s long-standing commitment to providing high quality management education. YSB was first accredited by AACSB International in 2009.
Established in 1916, AACSB International is a global, nonprofit membership organization of educational institutions, businesses, and other entities devoted to the advancement of management education. Accreditation by AACSB International is seen as the benchmark for business school quality in the academic community, and its founding members include a number of prestigious American universities, such as Harvard, Yale, and Columbia.
YSB is the only business school in Korea accredited by AACSB International and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), which accredits business schools throughout the world based on their overall quality. Domestically, YSB is accredited by the Korean Association of Business Education Accreditation (KABEA).
