Christine Chapel Opens Its Doors at YIC

- YIC’s New Place of Worship Made Possible by Generous Donation from Yonsei Alumna Christine Kang

On October 25, the Yonsei International Campus (YIC) celebrated the opening of the Christine Chapel.  Yonsei President Jeong Kap-young attended the opening ceremony and worship service, along with several guests and Christian students from the International Campus.  With the completion of the Christine Chapel, YIC students will now be able attend worship services on campus, just as in Sinchon, where the Luce Chapel is located.  The construction of the Christine Chapel was made possible thanks to a generous donation from Yonsei alumna Christine Kang (’67), and its design is intended to emphasize the concept of youth.  The chapel will function both as a place of worship and a space for cultural events on campus.
