The results of the 2012 Satisfaction Survey for the Project Management Center of the Yonsei Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation (YIACF) revealed greater satisfaction among students, faculty, and researchers compared to last year’s survey. Established in March 2004, the YIACF was created, in association with the Office of Research Affairs, to promote industrial education at Yonsei and collaboration between the university and industry. One of the Center’s primary responsibilities is that of managing off-campus Research and Development (R&D) projects; in 2012 alone, it oversaw some 1,650 projects with a budget of 236 billion KRW. The survey was divided into three different categories: kindness, responsiveness, and overall satisfaction. While the results of the survey showed increased satisfaction in all three categories, the responses related to overall satisfaction showed the greatest improvement, presumably as a result of the standard process notification that was implemented in the second half of 2012.
