Korea-US Youth Network 2013 The 2013 edition of the Korea-US Youth Network 2013 took place March 18-26 at Yonsei’s Sinchon Campus. The program, which is supported by the Korea Foundation and run by Yonsei, began in 2009 after an agreement made between the governments of Korea and the United States. For just over a week, the students, who were selected from universities across America, attended special lectures at Yonsei on Korea-U.S. relations, Korean history, and the Korean language. They also experienced Korean culture by learning how to make kimchi, taking KPOP dance classes, and staying with a Korean family. This year, the Korea-US Youth network attracted 40 university students; and, in August, 50 high school students are expected to take part in a similar two-week program.
