On December 1st, Yonsei Volunteer Service Center will organize “Share Love, Share Briquettes” event for senior citizens living alone and low-income families. It is the 4th annual “Share Love, Share Briquettes” event and with increasing interest in the event, some 200 Yonseians are expected to participate this year. The Yonsei Workers Union and the Yonsei Social Welfare Community plan to expand the event to Incheon and help the needy in the region. Kim Se-rin, the student in head of the Volunteer Center, said that, “The event aims to create awareness for the unfortunate situation of our neighbors and share their suffering. Hopefully, many Yonseians will continue to get involved.”
