On November 15th, a delegation from Christian universities in Africa, including Congo and Rwanda, visited Yonsei University. In a meeting with President of Université Protestante au Congo Daniel Ngoy Boliya and six university officials, Vice President for International Affairs Kim Dong-hoon and Chief Pastor of Yonsei University Lee Dae-sung introduced to the visiting group the foundational history of Yonsei University built on Christianity and its recent progressive developments. While President Boliya expressed his amazement of the achievements and contributions Yonsei has made to society and service, the officials requested Yonsei to take a leading role in implementing exchange programs and achieving academic development with future Christian universities in emergent nations of Africa.
