Kellye Y. Testy, Dean of the University of Washington School of Law, visited Yonsei University on September 30th. Dean Testy attended the 2011 East Asian Law and Society Conference co-hosted by the Collaborative Research Network on East Asian Law and Society (CRN-EALS) and the Korean Society for the Sociology of Law. The event was held in Yonsei University's Law School. President Kim Han-joong and Dean Testy had in-depth discussions for a more active relationship between the two schools. Yonsei University and the University of Washington have been engaged in an active relationship based on their 1995 agreement on admitting undergraduate and graduate students through study abroad programs and their 2007 agreement on a dual-degree program for LLM. Since the Fall semester of 2009 until the Spring semester of 2010, sixty students have participated in the exchange program and four Yonsei students have been part of the dual-degree program.
