The Undergraduate Alumni Reunion The alumni celebrating their 50th (entering class of 1957 or graduating class of 1961) and 25th (entering class of 1982 or graduating class of 1986) anniversary of graduation reunited at their alma mater on May 14th to commemorate the school's founding day. They returned to the time when they were in their twenties and enjoyed their time together. The number of alumni that attended this year's reunion was unprecedented. This may have partly been due to the especially large class of entering students in 1982 when the graduate quota system went into effect, but also partly due to the fact that the alumni reconnected among themselves as they were preparing the reunion event on their own. The reunited alumni prepared each part of the event on their own. Among them included a video clip showing images of the 80s titled "Into our Memories," and a performance by the alumni reunion choir in which about 70 members of the alumni celebrating their 25th anniversary of graduation formed a harmony, and congratulatory performances by Yu Ju-eun (Voice 82), Kim Gwang-jin (Business 82), Lee Neom-yong and Han Myung-hoon (Medicine 79). In addition, among the alumni of the class celebrating its 25th anniversary of graduation, 81 distinguished members currently excelling in their own fields were selected and honored for the 2011 Yonsei alumni reunion event.
