The delegation of the European Union (EU) to the Republic of Korea, including Ambassador Tomasz Kozlowski, visited Yonsei University on April 19th. Ambassador Tomasz Kozlowski met with Yonsei President Kim Han-joong, Provost Yang Il-seon, Vice President for International Affairs Kim Dong-hoon, Director of Institute of East and West Studies and of EU Center Park Young-ryeol, and Director of Sangnam Institute of Management Son Seong-gyu, discussing plans to activate exchanges between Yonsei and EU countries. Recently, the Yonsei Sangnam Institute of Management was designated as the new Executive Training Program (ETP) which is run by the European Commission. The ETP is oriented towards informing the executives in EU countries of the business environment in Korea and also towards strengthening the business conditions in Korea. Accordingly, during his visit to Yonsei, the Ambassador delivered a special lecture on the new ETP, which is anticipated to enlarge the exchanges between EU countries and the Yonsei-SERI EU Center.
