Yonsei fosters young star CEOs Yonsei University has been selected as a ‘New Business Leading University’ by the Small & Medium Business Administration (SMBA). The ‘New Business Leading University’ project aims to invigorate new enterprises operated by young people. The project financially supports university programs that are designed to prepare young people for new businesses. The ‘New Business Leading University’ consists of 15 universities, including Yonsei University and Dongkuk University—as of the institutes in the Seoul area. Yonsei will be able to receive a grant funded by SMBA of a maximum amount of 4 thousand million won. The Yonsei Technology Business Center will be renamed as the Yonsei New Business Supporting Organization (tentative), seeking to fulfill its role to support new businesses and young CEOs in terms of human resources, technology & equipment and finance management.
