On December 7, 2010, the Executive Director, Kigge Hvid, of Denmark’s famous design center INDEX visited Yonsei, meeting with President Kim Han-joong, Dean of Graduate School of International Studies and of Underwood International College Lee Jeong-min. Yonsei signed an agreement with INDEX to conduct the ‘Yonsei-INDEX Design Summer School’ at the International Campus from 2011 and to establish the ‘INDEX: Design to Improve Life Center’. Founded in 2002 and Supported by the Danish royal family, INDEX is a non-profit design center which biannually holds the INDEX AWARD, an international design contest.
