On November 27, 2010, the Yonsei Voluntary Service Center coordinated the ‘Coal Briquette and Love Delivery’ voluntary event. Eight groups of a total of 150 Yonsei students delivered coal briquettes to senior citizens living alone and low-income families in the Seodaemun-gu district. A total of 6,000 coal briquettes were delivered to over 120 homes. The expense for the coal briquettes was collected from donations from the volunteers and many Yonsei faculty and staff members, including Emeritus Professor of the College of Medicine, Kang Du-heui.
