Yonsei University announced on November 25 that it will designate “Lee Man-sup Hall” and “Han Seung-soo Hall” in the College of Social Science building. The two former officials are graduates of Yonsei’s Political Science and International Studies department. There will be an event on the Lee Man-sup Hall on December 7. The university is planning to remodel the classroom 401 at Younhui Hall to resemble the interior of National Assembly, decorated with books written by Lee Man-sup. The hall will also have a plate describing his achievements. Another classroom in the same building will be remodeled as “Han Seung-soo Hall.” Lee Man-sup started his political career in 1963 when he was elected as a member of National Assembly and served as the Chairman of the National Assembly in the 14th and 16th Assemblies. Han Seung-soo served as the Prime Minister of Korea for 19 months from February 2008 to September 2009.
