Yonsei's Measure to A/H1N1 Flu Yonse University has set up a measure to deal with the A/H1N1 flu. The plan was announced on 28 August. From the beginning of this Fall semester, classes would check if there are students with symptoms of A/H1N1 flu (cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue with fever more than 37.8°C) before they start. If there are students with at least one of these symptoms, they would be transported to a temporary clinic set up at room 105 of the Student Union building to receive treatment. The medical office for A/H1N1 flu in Severance Hospital (beside emergency room) will also be open after school hours. Those students suspected to have A/H1N1 flu will not be obliged to attend classes, and would be encouraged to take rest at home, which will not be counted as absences. In case of faculty having A/H1N1 flu or its symptoms, they would notify Personnel Management Office immediately. The information was posted on Yonsei's main website as well as on intranet and notification e-mail circulated to staffs and students.
