Yonsei-SERI EU Centre was officially launched on March 17 in Allen Hall. University President Kim Han-joong, EU Ambassador Brian McDonald, SERI President and CEO Chung Ki-young, Trade Minister Kim Jong-hoon, SERI Senior Advisor Jung Ku-hyun, National Research Council for Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences Chairman Kim Sae-one and other high ranking figures participated in the ceremony. The centre will receive 1 million euro (1.8 billion Korean won) in the next four years, which is provided by the European Commission. Yonsei-SERI EU Centre will support research and education, outreach activities, academic exchanges and networking in Asia.
