The Yonsei University Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) will enter upon a dual degree agreement with the University of Chicago, Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies (Harris School). The agreement has been approved by the University of Chicago and will come into effect in the Fall semester of 2008, as soon as the administrative preparations are completed. According to the agreement, a student who studies for one year at the Yonsei GSIS and one year at the Harris School will receive both the GSIS Master of International Studies degree and the Harris School Master of Arts in Public Policy degree. Students who enroll at the Yonsei GSIS will have a chance to study at the prestigious University of Chicago, while also acquiring two masters’ degrees in a period designed for one. Also, University of Chicago students will be invited to study at Yonsei for the same option, making this an opportunity to have outstanding international students reside at Yonsei.
