On March 30, the Yonsei Proteome Research Center (YPRC) and the Beijing Proteome Research Center (BPRC) signed an MOU regarding reinforcement of research collaboration and research personnel exchange. The YRPC is Korea’s first proteomics research institution and is functioning as the center of various international research networks of the HUPO (Human Proteome Organization), while the BPRC is an institution sponsored by the Chinese central government which is leading the HUPO and HLPP (Human Liver Proteome Project). This year, a YPRC-BPRC colloquium will be held during the HUPO Seoul Conference which will be held from October 6 to 10 at the COEX in Seoul.
