China Day Culture Festival

 

 

On December 2, the fourth China Day Culture Festival was held at the Baekyang Concert Hall. Around 900 Chinese and Korean students took part in the festival, the theme of which was “Hand in Hand.”There was a wide variety of performances, including traditional Chinese dance, martial arts, Beijing Opera, stand-up comedy, Latin dance, and K-Pop dance.

 

In the welcoming address, Yonsei Provost Jaiyong Lee stressed that the festival “will help our Chinese students understand diverse cultures, enhance their creativity and communicative skills, and thus become future leaders in our global society.” Feng Lu, President of the Chinese Student Council, added: “This festival was a joyful occasion for introducing Chinese culture to our university and promoting friendship between Chinese and Korean students.”
