WAY : Winter Abroad at Yonsei

Winter Abroad at Yonsei (WAY) is a short term study abroad program that allows students to earn credits while participating in fun sports and cultural activities during winter break.

Yonsei University offers a 6-week winter program at its Sinchon campus for international students who would like to enjoy the winter in Seoul. The winter program is composed of two separate 3-week sessions, with intensive morning coursework and unique afternoon Korean language and Taekwondo classes. On the weekend, participants can enjoy Korean winter activities. It will be an excellent opportunity to catch up with coursework, meet professors in an intimate setting, and enjoy the companionship of participants from all over the world.

■ Course Dates

Session 1: December 27, 2016 – January 16, 2017

Session 2: January 19, 2017 – February 10, 2017

*Students have the option to take either one or both sessions

During each session, field trips will be organized for the program participants.

DMZ Tour

a visit to the demilitarized zone between South and North Korea

Ski Tour

a visit to a nearby ski resort to enjoy ski, snowboard, or sledding

- Tuition Fee: KRW 1,600,000

(Due : Nov 25 for one session only)
