Underwood Memorial Hall

 

In honor of Dr. Horace G. Underwood, the founder of Yonsei University, and his family, who contributed to modern higher education in and the development of South Korea, the Underwood residence in Yeonhui-dong has been remodeled and preserved as the Underwood Memorial Hall. Since October 2003, it has been available to the public to remember the virtue of Yonsei's founder and his family, and to tell their story to future generations.
