Community Sharing: Severance Hospital Donates 1,500 Pairs of Shoes

As part of the Gangnam District ‘Health Up Project’, Gangnam Severance Hospital donated 1,500 pairs of shoes to the youth and elderly residents of the district. The sneakers were donated by Vice Chairman Shin Hyun-woo of Bullsone Company, who is the father of Yonsei alumnus Shin Hyoung-jin. Vice Chairman Shin also donated 500 additional pairs of shoes to be used for global medical services provided by the hospital.

 

Gangnam Severance Hospital Director Kim Hyoung-joong said: “Sharing is the main spirit of Severance hospital. The power of sharing fulfills the hospitals’ true purpose. Gangnam Severance will continue to fulfill its role in sharing with society.”

 

The Gangnam District ‘Health Up Project’ was initiated in December 2015, and it involves the collaboration of Gangnam Severance Hospital and the Gangnam Welfare Foundation.
