Yonsei Enterprise Support Foundation Enters Chinese Market

 

-Yuanta Securities Korea Signs MOU with Yonsei

to Support Start-Ups by Young Professionals

 

 

 

On March 23, Yuanta Securities Korea and Yonsei Enterprise Support Foundation signed an MOU to support start-up companies for young Korean professionals who wish to enter the Chinese market. Yonsei Enterprise Support Foundation will provide guidance and mentoring for the entrepreneurs, while Yuanta Securities will facilitate funding opportunities through crowdfunding and assistance from its subsidiaries.

 

Yonsei Enterprise Support Foundation is one of thirty-four members of Start-Up Leader University Scheme selected by the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA). The mission is to identify university students and young adults with promising ideas for start-ups and assist them in preparing a business model and launching the company. As part of the MOU with Yonsei, Yuanta Securities has created a department within its Investment Banking branch dedicated solely to investing in small and medium business ventures.

 

Yonsei Enterprise Support Foundation Director Sohn Heung-gyu said, “With this MOU, we plan to resolve any practical challenges and difficulties that arise for first-time start-up businesses entering the Chinese market.”
