President of the Australian National University (ANU) Ian Chubb and Yonsei President Kim Han-joong met on May 26, which was their second meeting after they first met in May 2008. The two presidents met again to expand the scope of the exchange agreement which had been signed in 2008. ANU and Yonsei have carried out various projects intended to enhance the understanding and development between Australia and Korea. In 2008, Yonsei established the first Australia Research Center in Korea, and ANU founded the Korea Institute. In the coming year 2011, live interactive lectures are scheduled to take place between the two universities.
