Yonsei Team from Department of Computer Science

Wins International Competition

 

Participating in BIG CUP Challenge

 

 

In April, a team of Yonsei undergraduates form the Department of Computer Science took first place in the BIG CUP Challenge at the International World Wide Web Conference in Montreal, Canada. This was the third edition of the competition, and twenty-nine teams from various nations participated. The teams used a largecapacity Microsoft Academic Graph, which contained information about academic journals, authors, and references, to execute artificial intelligent challenges, such as predicting an article’s author. The accuracy rate for the challenges by the Yonsei team was 79.27%.
