The Yonsei Institute of the Arts aims to become an industry-linked educational institution that creates added value by producing works directly connected to the art field through public convergence education beyond the walls between majors, the gap among different media and genres, and beyond national boundaries. The institute opened on March 1, 2023, aiming to become the best professional art education institution centered on producing works leading the development of Korean art. It operates three majors: Applied Music, Film Studies, and Theatre and Musical. It offers the bachelor of fine arts degree under the name of the Yonsei University president, using the academic credit bank system.
