Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, held the February 2022 Commencement Ceremony online on February 21, 2022. A total of 5,216 Yonseians received their diplomas, including 2,808 bachelor's degrees, 1,950 master's degrees, 456 doctoral degrees, and two research program degrees.

“To our graduates who are taking their first steps out into the world today… consider what goes into values and identity of ‘being Yonsei,’” said Yonsei University President Seoung Hwan Suh during his Commencement Address. “‘Being Yonsei’ means to rise to the challenges faced by civilization with pioneering leadership. ‘Being Yonsei’ means to have an open mind and flexible attitude when communicating with others, an attitude of creativity and innovation in approaching all that is new. ‘Being Yonsei’ means to hold on to values of community and commitment in building a sustainable world for future generations, one that is inclusive and free.”

The event premiered online to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, but graduates and their friends and family members gathered at the campus the previous week and on the day of the ceremony to take photos and share congratulations.
