Planning various programs to foster international arbitration experts
On August 27, the Yonsei Law School in Seoul, South Korea signed an academic MOU with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). The signing ceremony was held online with Dr. Nam Hyung Doo, Dean of the Yonsei Law School and Ms. Lim Seok Hui, CEO of SIAC.
Under this agreement, the students of the Yonsei Law School can participate in the internship program provided by SIAC. In addition, the Yonsei Law School will establish an international arbitration course based on the ‘SIAC and Institutional Arbitration.’ The two organizations plan to conduct various programs, including seminars and workshops, to foster international arbitration experts.
“SIAC is one of the world's best arbitration institutions. SIAC's curriculum, internships, and the joint programs of SIAC and the Yonsei Law School will provide the Yonsei Law School students with a direct institutional perspective on international arbitration,” said Dean Nam of the Yonsei Law School.
“We are very happy to sign an agreement with the Yonsei Law School, one of the most prestigious law schools in Korea,” CEO Lim of SIAC said. "We hope to contribute to the best curriculum by conducting various international arbitration programs and providing internship opportunities to the Yonsei Law School students." -
