The EMBA program at Yonsei School of Business has been ranked as one of the best in the world by the Financial Times this year.

The program ranked 51st in this year’s FT global executive MBA ranking of the best 100 programs worldwide, placing second among all business schools in South Korea.

The FT rankings evaluate EMBA programs – business programs for corporate executives and CEOs – based on several criteria, including career progress, school diversity, and research/corporate social responsibility (CSR). Yonsei School of Business EMBA received the highest scores in the country for research/CSR; CSR is a new feature of this year’s rankings and was based on the ratio of core courses on corporate social responsibility, ethics and social and environmental issues. The program also ranked 13th and 14th globally for the salary increase and career progress criteria, marking exceptional distinction in career development.

Since entering the Financial Times and Economist global rankings for the first time in Korea in 2010 and 2011 respectively, Yonsei University School of Business has led the globalization of MBA programs in South Korea. Until now, Yonsei University had been the only university that has entered global rankings for both its part-time and full-time MBA programs.

"The competitive edge of Yonsei’s MBA is in its curriculum," said Young ho Eom, Dean of the Graduate School of Business. “As our CSR index has been globally acclaimed this year, we will continue to develop curriculum content that responds to trends and changes in the corporate environment and provides insight into the future, thus leading global and domestic MBA programs.”
