Mileage System

- Allocate a certain amount of mileage points to courses.

- The results of the last enrollment are open.

- Including the returning students who have been approved from Feb. 1 - Feb. 13.

- Course enrollment period for the returning students who have been approved on Feb. 13 starts at Feb. 14, 9:00.

Notification of Results

Feb. 15, 16:00 -


- Course enrollment results, based on the mileage system, are released.

- Using the "Wish List" is available.


Additional Enrollment

Feb. 16, 9:00

Waiting Number System

- Full-quota courses' waiting number is set by mileage and priority rules during the course enrollment period.

- A waiting number will be given when enrolling for courses with full quotas.


Incoming students & freshmen

Feb. 23,

9:00-17:00

- Enrolling for courses with remaining quotas is available.

- Previous waiting numbers and lists are all reset.

- A waiting number is given when enrolling for full-quota courses.

- Including freshmen returning from a leave of absence, freshmen and junior students at the College of Pharmacy.

2nd returning students

Feb. 27,

9:00-17:00

- Including the returning students approved from Feb. 14 - Feb. 22, and not freshmen.

Drop & Add

Mar. 6, 8:00

~ Mar. 8, 17:00


※ Please check your year at the Yonsei Portal > Academic Information System > Academic Affairs > Academic Information Check > Next Academic Term.

※ Students will be able to log in to the system an hour before the course enrollment during the waiting number system period, not during the mileage system period.

※ For the stable operation of the new Academic Information System, the temporary results of the course enrollment in the mileage system will be open on February 15 (Wed), from 10:00 to 11:00.  Check your temporary enrollment results during this period, and if there is an error, please report the error by clicking the Report Error button at the top of the page. The final results of the course enrollment in the mileage system will be released at 16:00 after the error inspection.


 

Instructions on the Classes for the March 2023 Semester

- Courses will be conducted face-to-face, some blended or non-face-to-face/online. All, if not, some classes may change to non-face-to-face/online classes depending on the situation.
- Non-face-to-face/online classes are conducted with pre-recorded video lectures. However, some of the courses approved as all non-face-to-face/online classes, such as joint lectures with other universities, can be operated as real-time online classes.

- Types of undergraduate classes and methods of class notation on timetables

For class types, refer to the class catalog for whether face-to-face, blended (face-to-face + non-face-to-face), or non-face-to-face, and the class plans.
① Face-to-face Lectures: Class times and classrooms are indicated.

② Real-time Online Lectures: Class times are indicated, and classrooms are marked as “Real-time Online.”

③ Video Content Lectures: Class times are indicated, and classrooms are marked as “Video Content” or “Video (Duplex Not Allowed).”
※ Class hours marked as “Video Content” can be overlapped with other classes.
※ Class hours marked as “Video (Duplex Not Allowed)” cannot be overlapped with other classes.


Test and Grading

Midterm and final exams policy: Even if the class is conducted non-face-to-face/online, the midterm and final exams may be conducted face-to-face. In addition, the grade evaluation is operated as relative evaluation / absolute evaluation / P/NP evaluation according to the university policy on the evaluation method. Hence, make sure to check the reference code of the course, evaluation method, and grading system.

 

Students who do not enroll for any courses within the designated period will not be able to maintain their status as below.

‧ Students who are in their first semester after freshmen admission or transfer admission, and students who have exhausted their leave of absence period will be "dismissed."

‧ Students who are not in ther first semester after admission and have general leave of absence semester left will be treated as a "general leave of absence."
