Spring 2023 Freshmen Registration Guide for Professional/Special Graduate Schools

* For international students, the periods of miscellaneous fees selection and tuition payment are different from Korean students, so please be aware.


1. Period for Payment

A. Korean students: February 7, 2023 (Tue) 09:30 - February 9 (Thu) 17:00

B. International students: January 11, 2023 (Wed) 09:30 - January 16 (Mon) 17:00


2. Miscellaneous Fees

A. Period for selection

1) Korean students: February 2, 2023 (Thu) 09:30 - February 6 (Mon) 12:00

2) International students: January 9, 2023 (Mon) 09:30 - January 10 (Tue) 16:00


B. No miscellaneous fees for the Graduate School of Business, Graduate School of International Studies, and special graduate schools.

C. Selection method: During the miscellaneous fees selection period, access the Yonsei Portal Service (portal.yonsei.ac.kr) to select miscellaneous fees and click "Confirm Miscellaneous Fees" to reflect the miscellaneous fees in the tuition bill.

D. Method: Pay along with tuition during the tuition payment period.

E. Notes

1) Selection and modification of miscellaneous fees are only available during the selection period.

2) You may modify your choice of miscellaneous fees when "temporarily saved," but once you click "Confirm," you cannot change at all.


3. Checking Tuition Fees and Printing Bills

A. Korean students: February 7, 2023 (Tue) 09:30 - February 9 (Thu) 17:00

B. International students: January 11, 2023 (Wed) 09:30 - January 16 (Mon) 17:00

C. Printing method: Access the Yonsei Portal (portal.yonsei.ac.kr) → Academic Management System → Log in → Academic Management → Registration → Print Registration Bills (Refer to the guidance.)

D. Notes

1) Tuition bills can only be inquired about and issued during the checking period.

2) After payment, it is impossible to print the bills in any way. If necessary, please print in advance.


4. Payment Method

A. Account transfer through Woori Bank's virtual account

1) Transfer the total amount to a deposit-only account specified in the bill.

- The deposit-only account (virtual) is given one account per student.

- Even if the transfer is made in the name of another person other than the student themself, registration is automatically processed if the transfer is made into the correct account dedicated to the student.

- Payment is not possible if the transfer amount does not match the noticed amount. So please transfer the correct amount according to the bill at once.

2) Methods: Internet banking, phone banking, ATM transfer, bank window, etc.

3) Notes

A) Transaction fees may be incurred if you use a bank other than Woori Bank.

B) Transfer may not be possible in some accounts in the secondary financial sector, such as CMA bankbooks.

C) Payment in installments is not available. Please check your transfer limit in advance.

D) It is impossible to return payments to change payment methods (e.g., account transfer → credit card.)


B. Using credit cards

1) Available cards: "Woori Credit Card" (other company's cards, check cards, or corporate cards are not available.)

2) Methods

A) Woori Card website (http://card.wooribank.com): 라이프 – 납부서비스 – 대학등록금 메뉴

B) Woori Card customer service: +82-1588-9955, +82-1599-9955

C) Woori Bank's branches nationwide in South Korea

3) Notes

A) When paying with a credit card, registration will be applied on the Yonsei Portal 3 hours after the payment.

B) Payment with a card can only be made in a total amount, and installment or partial payment cannot be made.

C) Payment can be made even if the card is not in the student's name. Cancellation is only available on the same day of payment. (Contact the card company.)

D) Installment plan services are available. Please contact the card company for more information.

E) Paying for the tuition is excluded from the card usage amount at the year-end tax adjustment.


5. Confirming Tuition Payment

A. How to print the tuition payment confirmation:  Yonsei Portal Service (http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr) → Log in → Academic Management → Registration → Print/Registration → Select the semester → Select the language → Print


6. Account Registration

A. In order to award scholarships or return tuition fees, please register your personal bank account number on the Yonsei Portal.

B. Method: Yonsei Portal Service (portal.yonsei.ac.kr) → Academic Management System → Academic Management → Student Information -> Change Account Information → fill in teh bank name, account holder name, account number → check the account → Save

C. In case of error, please send a copy of the bank book, a copy of the resident ID card (passport), a copy of student ID card (or a captured page of the student information page on the Yonsei Portal) to the Financial Accounting Team (fiwebmaster@yonsei.ac.kr).
