Yonsei’s Response to Confirmed COVID-19 Case [Student Union Building] 2020.11.16: Sinchon/International Office of University Planning & Development

A Yonsei student who visited the Student Union Building was confirmed positive for COVID-19. In response, Yonsei University informs the corresponding travel log and measures as follows.

1. Today, on Monday, November 16, at around 3:20 pm, the university was notified by disease control authorities that a Yonsei student had tested positive for COVID-19.

2. It was confirmed that the student visited the second floor of the Student Union Building on Friday, November 13, at around 1:00 pm and did not visit any other places on campus.

3. The university is carrying out measures, including disinfecting relevant spaces and checking close contact cases, under the guidance of the disease control authorities.

4. University members are advised to pay special attention to preventive measures such as temperature-checking. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, please get tested at a screening clinic near you.

5. We request your continued cooperation as we fight to end COVID-19 and vanguard the safety of the members of the Yonsei community.
