Yonsei’s Response to Confirmed COVID-19 Case [College of Music building] 2020.11.14: Sinchon/International Office of University Planning & Developmentt

In response to a confirmed COVID-19 case at the College of Music building, Yonsei University informs the corresponding travel log and measures as follows.

1. A Yonsei student tested positive on Friday, November 13, at around 2:30 pm.

2. The student was confirmed to have entered the College of Music building for two days, on Wednesday, November 11 and Thursday, November 12.

3. The student was informed on Thursday, November 12, that an acquaintance had tested positive COVID-19 and tested for the virus on the same day. The student was confirmed positive on Friday, November 13, at around 2:30 pm.

4. All confirmed close contact cases will take measures under the guidance of the disease control authorities.

5. The university completed disinfection measures of relevant spaces upon receiving notification of the confirmed case on Friday, November 13, at around 5:00 pm and is currently discussing further measures with the disease control authorities.

6. University members are advised to pay special attention to preventive measures such as temperature-checking. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, please get tested at a screening clinic near you.

7. We request your continued cooperation as we fight to end COVID-19 and vanguard the safety of the members of the Yonsei community.
