as of March 2, 2020

As a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus, Yonsei University has decided to shut down all classroom-based instruction and replace it with non-face-to-face/online classes for the beginning two weeks (March 16-28, 2020) of the 2020 spring semester. The two-week period may be extended depending on the severity of the COVID-19 situation in Korea.

More detailed information will be announced by the Office of Academic Affairs and college administration offices.

This decision is an inevitable step to safeguard the health and safety of the entire Yonsei University community by preventing the possibility of the spread of infectious disease through physical gathering in the classrooms. Let us work together for the health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff.
