Office of Student Affairs and Services

Office of Student Affairs and Services consists of Student Support Team, Scholarship and Employment Team, Gender Equity Center, Counseling Center, Physically-challenged Students Support Center, National Examination Information Center. The main business of the Student Support Team is to support student council, support activities of the student groups, such as student organizations and management and operation of the student union facilities. Scholarship and Employment Team is in charge of national scholarships, school scholarships, and external scholarship business, such as suburbs scholarship, and is responsible for the overall business related to employment and student career development. The Gender Equality Center cultivates the students to be leaders who are more mature and sensitive to others. It runs a career development and leadership programs, and equality of the University. It is responsible for the business, such as a codified fixation and education, consultation and incident handling for sexual violence eradication. In the Counseling center, psychological tests and counseling, lifestyle guidance and research according to this, through educational activities is provided. It helps so that the students can effectively adapt to school life and enhance creativity. Physically-challenged Students Support Center is a multidimensional and professional support service of school facilities inspection and improvement, and fault recognition of the members of the school for the smooth academic performance and school life of physically-challenged students.
National Examination Information Center provides notification and testing equivalent to that of the various countries [ bar exam, diplomats candidate selection test of class 5 national civil service open competition recruitment examination ( administrative and technical ) , legislation notice , bar exam , CPA exam and to fit a patent attorney exam etc. It allows students to prepare students and operates a variety of programs for systematical support.

National Examination Information Center

National Examination Information Center in the Student Welfare Center supports students who are preparing for the judicial exam, government open recruitment (administration, technique, and foreign affairs), accounting, and patent agents.

Gender Equity Center

Gender Equity Center is enhancing the role of women that the information based future is asking for,. We are trying to enhance the welfare of women and allow a balance and competition among both genders by engaging with female graduates.

Gender Equity Education Program

Raising the Sensitivity of Freshman, Enrolled Student, Part-time lecturer and opening programs, gender related liberal art courses that allow them to have a gender-equity perspective

Gender Equity Counseling Center Management

We consult sexual assault cases as well as educate and support so that our students, professors, and employees are all guaranteed equal education and working environment regardless of gender and sexual preference. Every consulting and case support accords to Yonsei University Sexual Assault Prevention and Treatment Regulation and Detailed Rules

Female Student welfare and other program

We run a seminar room and woman resting room, pumping chamber, gender equity counseling center.

The name of this facility is “Yonsei University Counseling Center” and a subsidiary of Yonsei University.
The Counseling Center
The Counseling Center aims to allow the students to embrace a fine personality on the basis of Christian truth and liberty by providing a place for conversation, psychological tests and counseling. We perform the research related to this area so that students can adapt to academia efficiently and fulfill self-development and cherish a happy life.

Counseling and Tests

  • Personal Counseling

    We provide visiting counseling service, internet counseling service, and mobile counseling service.

  • Group Counseling

    We provide programs that allow around 10 participants with similar concerns and difficulties to have a group counseling session with a professional counselor. This helps them to talk about their problem and to find solutions.

  • 2 time academic probation students counseling

    student and parent counseling for 2 time academic probation students for better school life and prevention of further probation

  • Psychological Testing

    Special lectures for school faculty and employees on child raising and learning type testing for their children (once a year)
