“As a female artist with mixed backgrounds, I realized that I had to understand my identity first to cope with stereotypes that surround myself, which brought me to Yonsei. As a Korean Language & Literature major, I was able to perceive and understand my roots better, while also growing as a versatile thinker and learner through Yonsei’s interdisciplinary approach to learning. Korea’s unique culture of bonding is also reflected through Yonsei’s traditions, and I feel welcome, more open to understanding myself better and growing as an individual.”
