—Up to 8 Credits Can Be Earned over 6 Weeks

—Special Leadership Lectures Held Every Friday

Between December 29 and February 11, the Winter Abroad at Yonsei (WAY) program will be in session on the Sinchon Campus. WAY students, most of whom hail from overseas, can earn up to six credits, which may be transferred to their home institutions.  All of the courses are conducted in English, and they include offerings from a number of different fields, such as humanities, economics, and business administration. Some specific courses from this year’s   WAY are Strategic Management, Microeconomics, and Korean Development.  At the same time, special leadership lectures will be held for WAY students every Friday.

Because international students tend to have a shorter winter break than their Korean counterparts, WAY offers a flexible curriculum, with two three-week sessions.  The first session runs from December 29 to January 19, while the second will take place between January 22 and February 11. In addition to courses and special lectures, WAY students can take advantage of a number of cultural programs and extracurricular activities, such as visits to the DMZ and ski trips on the weekend. WAY is the first international winter program in Korea, and it has proven to be very popular among international students with an interest in this country’s history, culture, and politics.
