On February 10th, Mrs. Kim Sun-jeon passed away at the age of 91. Last August, she donated to Yonsei assets worth 10 billion KRW, including four buildings that she owned. Mrs. Kim amassed her fortune during her six-decade career as a businesswoman at Dongdaemun Market. In honor of her great generosity, Yonsei will use her donation to operate the Kim Sun-jeon Scholarship.
