On November 22nd AutoGen Co., Ltd. Presidents Cho Yong-seon (Economics 58’) and Lee Yon-bae (Instrumental Music 66’) contributed 200 million won to Yonsei President Jeong Kap-young for the Baekyang-ro Re-creation Project. This couple has donated a total of 900 million won for Yonsei funds, and they are the first and only alumni couple who have given more than 100 million won to the Yonsei funds. Their donation is anticipated to serve as a catalyst for the Baekyang-ro Re-creation Project, promoting more participation from other alumni. Presidents Cho and Lee own a company that manufactures car components and molds. The couple has shared donations to other Yonsei funds, including 100 million won to the Yonsei-Samsung Library Development Fund, 100 million to the International Campus Development Fund, 30 million for the College of Music. President Lee has also donated 70 million for the College of Music, 200 million for scholarships in the College of Music, and 50 million to Yonsei-Samsung Library.
