The Yonsei Graduate School of Business Global MBA program is becoming more innovative and revolutionary. Of the entering students in year 2010, more than 60% are international students from 17 different countries. Yonsei Global MBA is reaching students all over the world, including Britain, Germany, Sweden, Austria, the United States, Poland, Canada, Bangladesh, Israel, China, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Mexico, and El Salvador. These foreign students chose Yonsei University over other prestigious schools such as Carnegie Mellon University, University of Rochester, Oxford University, Cambridge University, and Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. The average GMAT score of these students is 650, with 750 the highest. During the past year, the school worked on developing the best program for the students, with a focus on northeast Asian business studies for foreign students and on sending Korean students to programs abroad to build more competitive edge. The school also aimed for a niche program and curriculum to train specialists in northeast Asian business that could compete with MBA programs in America or European countries. Currently, the school aims to invite faculty form Peking University and Keio University and develop selective courses on northeast Asia oriented issues. Dean of Yonsei Business School, Park Sang-Yong, promised that “Global MBA at Yonsei will have even more competitive edge in the future.”
