2009 International Students' Day was held at Allen Hall on May 28. The event had two parts: the first section focused on introducing general information and school regulations, and the second section was done with presentations by foreign student under the title of "Getting to Know Each Other." Students from Nepal and Gabon introduced their countries. Sushil Devkota and Bikash Thapa introduced their country emphasizing the diversity of culture in Nepal, followed by a small quiz session. They aroused curiosity among audience when they mentioned that the prize for the quiz is something very precious made by hand. Ekang Muriel, a politics student from Gabon also emphasized their cultural diversity and generosity. The title of her presentation was "Gabon, the Last Eden." She said, "National anthem of Gabon, "La Concorde", puts emphasis on harmony from the first place. Also, the motto of Gabon is 'Union, Work, and Justice'," pointing out that their national spirit is based on the unity of different tribes.
