Green Campus Association Conference Low-carbon green development is getting more and more attention in the current world. University Presidents declared participation of universities. On May 13, a conference co-sponsored by Korea Green Campus Association and Ministry of Knowledge and MEST (Ministry of Education, Science and Technology), with the additional support by Ministry of Environment, was held at the International Conference Room in Yonsei-Samsung Library. Shin Eui-soon, chairman of the Korea Green Campus Association, announced plans. Yonsei President Kim Han-Joong, Education Minister Ahn Byong-man, Environment Minister Lee Manee and Shin Eui-soon signed a memorandum of understanding to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable growth on university campuses. University President Kim Han-Joong gave a welcoming speech, followed by congratulations by the ministers.
