200 International Members of Yonsei Gathered International Scholars’ Day, an event for international professors and researchers at Yonsei’s two campuses and Yonsei University Health System, was held at the University President’s Residence on 1 May. The event is now in its third year, and 200 people attended the event. There were various programs such as speeches by the university president Kim Han-Joong and Professor Robert Jeens, and small concerts offering jazz and Korean traditional music. The event is held every year to promote confidence and pride among the members of Yonsei from foreign countries to work in the university, as well as to facilitate chances of sharing ideas and exchanging of thoughts.
