Yonsei KLI (Korean Language Institution) will celebrate its 50th anniversary in April. The Korean Language Institution was established on April 1st, 1959 as the first institute to provide quality education of Korean language and culture for foreigners and overseas Koreans who study Korean language and culture, and promote better understanding of Korea. For last 50 years, Yonsei KLI has led Korean education both in domestic and international level and contributed to the internationalization of the university, producing more than 70,000 students from more than 128 countries. The institution is planning to open a variety of events for its 50th anniversary. The events are expected to be a time of sharing congratulations and planning new visions for the future.
