Yonsei President Visits U.S. Alumni Associations and Major Universiteis. Yonsei University President Kim Han-Joong visited the Yonsei Alumni Associations, U.S. branch, from December 6 to 16. On December 6, President Kim arrived in Los Angeles and immediately attended the Alumni Association end-of-the-year party to speak about the Yonsei vision and ask for support. He also held a press conference at the Yonsei Language Institute and made an appearance on Radio Korea. The same evening, he attended the Southern California Alumni Association Meeting to give a speech, where he asked for “the support and love of our Southern California alumni, which is crucial for the success of Yonsei in the world”. On December 13, President Kim attended the New York Yonsei Alumni Night event to once again call for the support of the alumni. In addition to visiting the alumni association gatherings, President Kim visited several major American universities, including North Carolina State University and Yale University, where he introduced Yonsei as a new force in the world and discussed future exchange efforts.
