Delegation Visits University of Warwick and Eton College Yonsei President Kim Han-Joong and the Yonsei delegation visited the University of Warwick in continuation of the efforts to invite campuses of renowned universities to Songdo. On November 20, President Kim met Vice-Chancellor Nigel Thrift, Director James Kennedy of the International Office, and other officials of Warwick to introduce the Songdo Global Academic Complex and to visit various research centers of the university. The University of Warwick, an acclaimed university in the U.K., has plans to establish a campus in the Songdo Complex. In addition to Oxford and Warwick, Yonsei President Kim visited many other institutions, including Eton College, the top institution of secondary education in the U.K. on November 18 and the School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS), University of London, on November 19 to meet Director Paul Webley to discuss dual degrees and research collaboration. On November 21, the group met Director of the London School of Economics and Political Science, Sir Howard Davies. Through these visits, Yonsei was able to expand its global scale and increase international recognition, reestablishing its position as the center of research and education in East Asia.
