Underwood Hall was built in 1924 with the donation of John T. Underwood, brother of first principal of Yonhi Professional School, Dr. Won Doo-woo (Underwood). The four-story building measures at building area 7,463 ft2 and total floor area 31,184 ft2, and had been used by the College of Liberal Arts. In 1982, the building was designated as university headquarters and houses the Presidential office and other administrative offices. Underwood Hall has been designated as Historical Site #276.
