The Global Management Track (GMT) of the College of Business went on a tour of international businesses from January 20 to February 1. GMT members were given a chance to visit the companies and interview the leaders of international businesses, conduct research on the companies visited, and experience the local culture. The members will organize and present the results of this visit in a course during the Spring semester of 2008. The visit covered Korean and domestic businesses in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Vietnam, including JP Morgan, Société General Bank, the stock markets, Mirae Asset, Korea Development Bank of Hong Kong, POSCO, KOTRA of Thailand, Samsung Electronics, LG Household and Health Care, GS Construction, Hansae Vietnam, and KOTRA of Vietnam.
