Dean Ha Yeon Seob of the Office of International Affairs Holds Private Interview with Malaysian Minister of Higher Education Dato’ Mustapa Mohamed Dean Ha Yeon Seob met privately with Malaysian Minister of Higher Education Dato’ Mustapa Mohamed at the Hong Kong Exhibition Centre on July 13 and spoke about the issue of Globalization of Korean-Malaysian Higher Education. Minister Mohamed, who had visited Hong Kong to participate in the Third APPLE (Asia Pacific Professional Leaders in Education) Conference held from July 11-13, has shown continued interest in Yonsei University, the host of the Fourth APPLE Conference in 2008 and a leader of globalization in Asia. Dean Ha explained in detail the current globalization status of Yonsei and the Songdo Global Academic Complex, and Minister Mohamed agreed to support Yonsei students who wished to study in Malaysian universities, which are known for the areas of tropical botany and BT.
